 WHO WE ARE! At Johnny’s Great Canadian Guide Service we pride ourselves on being professional, hard working guides. Every guide employed by this service has been personally approved by me. Each one meets the same high standards that I expect from myself. We will do whatever it takes to make your trip with us an experience of a life time. Although I have had many opportunities to leave the area, I have never found a good enough reason to give up the lifestyle I have here in the great white north. What better way to share that lifestyle than to offer you my guide service that is based on my lifelong experience hunting and fishing in Northern Ontario. 
My professional fishing career began in 1992 when I started to fish as an aspiring tournament angler. I was successful that year and was instantly hooked by the competitiveness of it all. As my career progressed so did my goals. My new goal was to one day fish the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail (PWT), and so my journey began. My complete focus was on this goal so I quit everything else I was doing at the time. No more hockey, golf or baseball, just fishing 24/7. My strategy worked and in 2001 I qualified to fish the PWT. My first year on tour was a learning experience to say the least, but the next several years were full of successes. My first PWT win came in 2005 at the Fox Chain of Lakes event. That season I finished with the Western Division Angler of the Year title and a 10th place finish at the 2005 Mercury Championship, the Super Bowl of all Walleye Tournaments. All my focus, hard work, and a bit of luck, have enabled me to qualify for the In-Fisherman Elite Super Pro Tour I fish today. 
Whitetail Hunting - I am sure you have heard about the monster bucks in Canada! For the last several years I have been looking for the perfect piece of land to use for my guide service. I have finally found it. This property is very close to where the Ontario Whitetail record was shot in 2003. Another monster buck has been spotted in the area several times. The property I now own, and reserve exclusively for use by my guide service, is right in the centre of the hottest Whitetail hunting area Dryden has to offer. We have access over 1000 acres of prime Whitetail land for you to hunt! We scout and prep the area all year long to help increase your chances of getting a shot at that heart stopping buck! My journey has been fulfilling and has led me to develop Johnny's Great Canadian Guide Service. There is no other guide service like it in our area!
